Mrs. Talesa Samuel-Murphy, beloved wife of Reverend Johnny Murphy, went to Heaven on Tuesday evening, November 25, 2009 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

In Memory of……..

Talesa Annette Samuel- Murphy was born on October 3, 1970 to Shirley Samuels and Jerry Noble Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Born and raised singing and praising the Lord, Talesa was baptized at St. Johns Baptist Church by Rev. C.O. Morris at 8 years old.
She attended Central High School, and went on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Langston University, and furthered her studies, receiving a Masters in Human Relations from Oklahoma University. Always community minded, Talesa was a volunteer and a member of numerous organizations to include; executive women, international youth mentoring program, central alumni board, American Heart and Stroke Association board, volunteer of the American Cancer Association and much more.

In the midst of life, Talesa was blessed with a beautiful baby girl, Ashley Brianna Hopkins, whom preceded her in death. However, God continued to bless her with a devoted and loving son Moses Isokariari (Momo). A gentle and loving mother and wife; Talesa accepted the hand in marriage to Johnnie Lee Murphy in 2006. With this marriage, they were blessed with a son Dallas Jonathan Murphy and beautiful daughter, Annalea Rebecca Murphy.
To those who remain to wait on the Lord, husband, Johnnie Lee Muprhy, sons: Moses Isokariati and Dallas Murphy; daughter Annalea Murphy; mother Shirley Greer (Edward), her father Jerry Noble (Gloria) Sr.; grandmother Roberta Hardy, brothers: Ronald L. Cole, Marrico Cole (Tasheika), Ronald D. Noble and Jerry Noble, Jr.; sisters: Deborah Kelley (Bryant),Pamela Smith (George), Tresa Ogans (Rodd) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and family and friends.

Services will be Tuesday December 1, 2009 at 10AM at Saint John Baptist Church at 1802 North Troost in Tulsa. Visitation will be Monday from 12Noon to 7PM in Tulsa.
