On February 14, 1969, a beautiful, baby girl was born to Edna Carter and Samuel Jackson in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
At an early age, Tammy attended Cherokee Elementary School. Her high school years were spent a Tullahassee High School.
Tammy was loved by everyone who knew her. She enjoyed being around her husband, granchildren, other family and friends. In 2010, she gave her life to Christ and became a member of Divine Love Christian Fellowship. Tammy had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up the whole room - not to mention that laugh she had.
Tammy met the love of her life, Gary Drew and were married for 30 years. They remained in love until her death. Her time with us on Earth came to a close on Monday, November 30, 2015 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father, a son, Dominique Cotton and her step-father, Joe Lee Carter.
She leaves in God's care; her loving husband, Gary Drew, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her daughter, Tasheba Drew, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her sons, Gary [Sharonda] Drew, Ohio and Donnie Drew, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her mother, Edna Carter, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her grandmother, Georgia Reynolds, Muskogee, Oklahoma; a brother, Kenneth Reynolds, Muskogee, Oklahoma; her half-sister, Vickie Bryant, Muskogee, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Starsha, Lonzo, Harry, Zantrail, Mark, Donnie Jr., Dontrea, Zariya and Garyaun; four nieces, Janell, Myah, Lataysha and Julianna Reynolds; along with a caravan of other relatives and friends.
The Hour of Remembrance will commence on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the most Holy sanctuary of the Divine Love Christian Fellowship, 500 North "F" Street in Muskogee. The Pastor, Bishop Michael Webber will preside.
Burial will follow in the Four Mile Branch Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
