Mrs. Tenita Devonne Betts, after 43 years, surrendered her soul to Jesus on Friday morning, February 27, 2009 from her home in Corsicana, Texas.

A former resident of Muskogee, Tenita was a loving wife, devoted mother, sister, aunt and faithful friend to all who knew her.

Friends near Corsicana, Texas may visit Tenita on Thursday at the St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 1201 East 10th Street in Corsicana from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The Celebratory Worship Service will be on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the Timothy Baptist Church, 5530 West Okmulgee Avenue in Muskogee. Pastor Kelly Payne is the gracious host Pastor and Pastor Yolanda Patrice Campbell, Co-Pastor of New Balm Ministries, Eulogist. The Christian committal will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.
