Miss Teresa Jean Evans, in her 23rd year, fell asleep in the Arms of Jesus, with her newborn son, Anthony William on Saturday morning, March 10, 2007 in Muskogee.

Her time with us began on December 14, 1983 in Tahlequah, born from the union of Connie Richerson Evans and Robert Evans.

Teresa grew up in Muskogee, attending Irving, Sadler and Cherokee Elementary schools, West Middle School and later Muskogee High School.

In 1994, she united with the Rose of Sharon Church. She loved life but most of all she loved her children. She never met a stranger and touched the lives of many as she traveled through.

Awaiting at Heaven's gate for Teresa and Anthony was baby Willis, who had gone on before. Teresa, Anthony and Willis are united now forever with their Savior and Lord. She was also preceded by her grandfather, William Richerson and her grandmother, R. Dell McElroy.

Those left with beautiful memories; her loving mother, Connie Evans; her father, Robert Evans; her fiancee', Patrick Underwood; her children, Zoey, Sway, Alexis, Bryan, Deshonda; her sisters, Jessica Evans, Charlene Walser, Heather O'laughlin, and Shawn Decker; her brothers, Robert and Joshua Evans, Robert Applegate and Matthew Jenkins; her uncles, William Richerson, Lynual McElroy, and Johnny [Donna] Evans; her adopted family, parents, Rev. Chester and Lela Thomas, John aned Sandy Harris and Annetta Allen; her adopted sisters, Ta'One Thomas, Tina Thomas, Priscilla Griffith and Heather Mullinax; along with other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The final hour will be on Monday, March 19, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rose of Sharon Church. Rev. Chester Thomas, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Greenhill Cemetery.
