Ms. Teresa Lynne  in her 60th Season, transitioned to Rest on September 28, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Teresa was born to Lillian and Alonzo Moore on October 2, 1960, in Fort Rucker, Alabama.

Teresa loved her family, her co-workers, her friends, and her animals. Just as the meaning of her name, "the HARVESTER", Teresa provided for anyone in need with an unforgettable smile and warm hug. She was so many things to so many people. Today, she is being celebrated for the beautiful person she was.

As a child, she excelled academically in school and in various sports. She graduated from Muskogee High School in 1978. She went on to graduate from Connors State College and attended Northeastern State University- Broken Arrow. Teresa committed her work life to NRG Energy as a Quality Analyst. She was previously employed with MetLife here at the Tulsa Location for more than 18 years.

Teresa lived for her family and her animals, cherishing every moment she spent with them. She will be dearly missed. She extended her love to several foreign exchange students and was the guardian/foster parent to many. She leaves behind her farm of horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and miscellaneous other animals.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Lillian, and Alonzo Moore.

She is survived by her amazing children, Akeem, Jawaan (Raquel), and Jakii. Her grandchildren Chrinasia, Kameron, Kennedy, Memphis, Sariyia, Jayla, A'rayia, and A'mari. Her sibilings, Cheryl Bates (Sonny), Tommy Moore, Alonzo Moore III and Brian Moore. Her nephews and nieces, Arlando Bates, Austin Moore, Tyra Davis, and Abrianna Moore. Her aunts, Lois Thompson, and Doris (Tony) Woulard; and an Uncle William Syrus. Her grandnieces/ nephew, Simone Bates, Reign Bates, Athena Marie Watson, Emelia Davis and Eliam Jeremiah Kiaros. She also leaves behind an enormous host of additional family and friends.

Services will occur Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 11:00AM in the North Mabee Center Chapel.

Viewing will be held Friday between 1:00PM-6:00PM in the Tulsa Chapel.
