Obituary
On Sunday April 17, 1989 a precious bundle of joy was delivered to Carl Jones and Valentina Lesie in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Growing up, Terico attended Marshall, and Nimitz in Tulsa Public Schools, and graduated from Union High School in Tulsa. He also attended Tulsa Technology Center to study computers. Secularly, he worked for Braums, and the last three years at 2 Men and a Truck Moving Company.
He was baptized at North Peoria Church of Christ in 2010. "Rico" loved to dance which he was really good at. He also loved to play video games and dressed nice. His sister Tasha would call him "Pretty Ricky" at times. He loved his son Terico, Jr. along with the rest of his family, always being a source of laughter.
He was preceeded in death by his great grandma Priscilla Williams, grandmother Ola Faye Williams, cousins: Darnell Leathers (Junior) and Tayanna Williams.
Terico Leslie is survived by his son Terico Leslie Jr., his mother Valentina Leslie, father Carl Jones, Tulsa, OK, his other mother and Aunt Nicole Williams, Tulsa, OK, sistesr NaTasha Leslie of Tallahassee, FL, Latoya Leslie, Atiya, Stacy, Carlisha and brothers Anthony Leslie, and Carl Jones Jr, 4 nieces and 3 nephews all of Tulsa, OK, aunts: Debra Leslie (Connor) Lisa Murphy, Patrice Williams (Charles), Nicole Williams, Farrah Norton (Will), Tarrah Williams uncle: Derrick Williams, his special cousins: along with a host of cousins and friends.
Services for Mr. Terico Damont Leslie will be Monday July 27 at North Sheridan Church of Christ.
Visitation will be held from 3pm-6pm on Sunday July 26 at our Tulsa Chapel.
"The Broken Chain"
Little did we know that morning that
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same
But as God calls us away one by one the chain will link again.
