June 7, 1948 - May 27, 2017

Theodore "Ted" William Ford, 68, of Tulsa, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born June 7, 1948, on Tiger Mountain to Iola Hill and William Ford. He attended school at Bannker School, Attacks Elementary and Dunbar High School Following his high school years, Ted served in the United States Army.

Ted is preceded by his father, William; sister, Netheria Rochelle Laremore; and a son-in-law Darin Frazier.

He is survived by his mother Iola Hill of Okmulgee; children, June Frazier of Tulsa, Nina Ford Wherry and husband Jermaine of Tulsa, Ted Ford Jr. of Tulsa, and Demetria Ford of California; siblings, Earnest Ford of Okmulgee, Earnestine Sheared (Ottoway) of Okmulgee, Kenneth Williams of Okmulgee, Kim Williams of Tulsa, Betty Ferguson of Tulsa, Walter Wilson of Tulsa, and Lloyd Durham and wife Kim of Allen, Texas; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend Joyce Marshall.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 3, 2017, at 11a.m. at the Biglow Funeral Chapel in Okmulgee.

Viewing will be Friday, June 2, 2017, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the family and 1 to 7 p.m. for the public. It will be held at the Biglow Funeral Chapel in Tulsa.

Burial will be held at the Hawkins Cemetery in Hoffman
