Obituary
A set of twin boys arrived in the small settlement of Arcade, Oklahoma, in Muskogee County just south of Taft, Oklahoma on April 19, 1932 from the loving union of Moses and Reba [Stanley] Williams, Sr. The boys were named Ezrael and Timothy.
Timothy lived in Arcade with his family, where he grew up attended school , both at Arcade and also Sugar Creek School. He was fortunate to live on the family compound, which was comprised of the Proud heritage of the Miller, Williams, Berry and Stanley families until he grew to adulthood.
He helped with the farming labors while he was a young man and later in life, he worked construction until his retirement. Mr. Williams was an easy going person, that was always smiling and loved to dance when he was a young man.
Timothy Williams, in his 74th season, had a little talk with Jesus on Thursday afternoon, and with the Master's beckoning, surrendered his Soul on September 14, 2006 from Grace Living Center in Muskogee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses and Reba Williams, Sr., and his brother, Ezrael and Jimmy Williams.
Those that remain to lament his passing; a daugher, Gloria Underwood Jones, Dallas, Texas; a grandson, Shawn Jones, Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Jill Marie Jones, the Television actress of "Girlfriends", of whom he was very, very proud, JuliaMae Jones, Tulsa, OK; he also leaves his three brothers, Hosea Williams, Moses Williams, Jr., both of Taft, Oklahoma, and James Williams, Dallas, Texas; along with a caravan of cousins, the Miller family, the Powell family, the Jackson Family and the Black family, and other many friends.
The final hour with Mr. Williams will be on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. in the New Life Ministries of Taft, Oklahoma. Pastor Michael Gaulde, the gracious host Pastor, Presiding and Reverend Anthony Wooden, Officiant. Burial will follow in the Doyle Cemetery at Yahola, Oklahoma.
You may visit Mr. Williams, as he slumbers at the funeral home in Muskogee on Monday from 1 PM to 6 PM and on Tuesday morning, from 10 AM to 12 Noon.
