Obituary

Tommy Piros was born October 2, 1948 in Scott City, Kansas. He was the youngest of two boys born to Jimmy Piros and Rachel Boss. His family relocated to Hutchinson, Kansas when Tommy was still a baby. There he grew up, attended the schools, culminating with his graduation from Hutchinson High School. He married Darlene Scott, and this union was blessed with a beautiful, loving daughter they named Jade Piros.

Tom, as he like to be called, later moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. There he met and married Sylvia Spears on December 23, 1994. Together, they shared in the joy of having their only child together: a loving, beautiful daughter named Charisse Piros. Tommy was a strong, encouraging step-father to Sylvia's son Branndon Spears. Tommy and Sylvia enjoyed 26 years of marital bliss and celebrated many milestones together. Tommy was a quiet man, who believed in working hard, loving his family, and taking care of his family. He retired in July 2008 after 10 years of dedicated service with the same company.

Tommy accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior and invited Jesus into his life in July 2009. He was accepted into the family of Hallelujah Church, where he enjoyed Praise and Worship and the word of God spoken by Pastors Dwayne and Judy Grundy. He formed lasting friendships at Hallelujah, growing in the Word and in faith. Tommy went Home to be with the Lord on January 16, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother. Tommy leaves to celebrate his memory: his wife, Sylvia Piros, two daughters: Jade Piros, and Charisse Piros, one step-son, Branndon, a daughter in-law, two grandsons, two brothers in-law: Robert Marshall, and Philip Gardner, two sisters in-law: Doris Marshall, and Alexis Gardner, many nieces and nephews, a spiritual Godmother, Anna Randle, spiritual Godfather, Jackie Randle, the Hallelujah Church Family, and a host of co-workers, and friends.

His memorial service will be Thursday January 20, 2011 at 10AM at Hallelujah Church in Tulsa.
