On August 21, 1954, a baby boy was born in Muskogee Oklahoma to Elex Kimble Sr., and Ernestine Kimble, and they named him Tony Lee Kimble.

In 1972, Tony graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa Oklahoma. He eventually moved back to Muskogee where he met and married Kathy Kimble. They were together for 27 years and 6 children were born to this union.

Tony gave his life to Jesus in 1979. A few years later, he began attending Anchor Of Hope Tabernacle, pastored by Reverend Dale Mercer, where he also became a licensed minister. Tony and his family served there for 11 years.

Tony loved football, and was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed bowling, playing chess, and playing video games. He was very talented and happened to create several fun board games over the years.

Mr. Tony Lee Kimble, after 69 years of life, received his rest on Monday, May 6, 2024 from Arlington, Texas.

Tony is preceded in death by: his father Elex Kimble Sr.; his mother Ernestine Kimble; his sisters: Patsy Kimble-Williams; Maryanna; Helen Kimble; Ellenstine Oliver; Rozella Kimble; Rebecca Robinson; Loraine Kimble; and his brothers: James Kimble; Calvin Kimble; and Rev. Alex Kimble.

Tony has one surviving sibling, his sister Shirley Kimble-Knight, and a beloved nephew/brother Charles Smith.

He leaves 9 children to cherish his memory: Latasha Myers; Jamica Kimble; Jonice Kimble; Tony Kimble Jr.; Thamar Kimble; Wesley Kimble; Tirus Kimble; Tonelisa Kimble; and Tavontae Kimble.

He also leaves 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The Hour of Remembrance for Tony will commence on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Tenth Hour in The All Faiths Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Tulsa.

You may visit Mr. Kimble as he slumbers on Friday, May 31, 2024 between the hours of 2PM-6PM in the Tulsa Chapel.

The Christian Committal will immediately follow the services in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
