IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tracy Lynn
Nelson
April 19, 1969 – September 6, 2025
Miss Tracy Lynn Nelson, after 56 years of life, received her rest on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from Muskogee, Oklahoma. Born on April 19, 1969, in Muskogee, she was the cherished daughter of the late Jerry Ross-Nelson of Muskogee and James Martin of Taft, Oklahoma.
A proud graduate of Muskogee High School, Class of 1987, Tracy also attended Ben Franklin Elementary and Alice Robertson Middle School. She was a lifelong resident of Muskogee and a dedicated member of the Temple of Hope Church.
Tracy was known for her kind spirit, infectious sense of humor, and her unwavering dedication to both her family and her work. She spent much of her career as a talented cake decorator, where her creativity and attention to detail brought joy to many.
Outside of work, Tracy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved dancing, fishing, listening to music, playing bingo and visiting the casino, but above all, she treasured time spent with her family. Tracy was a devoted mother, sister, and aunt—always ready to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone she met.
Tracy is survived by her loving sons: Trevin Nelson, R'Monte Nelson, and Je'fre Nelson, all of Muskogee; her sisters Debbie Nelson of Syracuse, Kansas, and LaQuianna Nelson of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Alice Nelson; her aunt, Anna Ross-Parker; and her uncles: Johnny Ross, Robert Ross, LP Ross, Alex Ross, Willie Ross, and Jabo Ross.
Tracy's life was a testament to love, laughter, and service to others. She will be remembered for her generous heart, her strength, and the deep bonds she formed with everyone around her.
A graveside Ceremony will be held on Saturday September 13th, 2025 in the First Hour of the Afternoon at Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Family and friends are invited to come together in Celebration of Tracy's Life.
