Mr. Valentino Tyrone Yancy, after 55 seasons of life, passed from this life on Monday, December 2, 2013 in Muskogee.
Better known as "Tino" to family and friends, Mr. Yancy was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on November 16, 1958, the son of Robery and Joyce [Hudson] Yancy.
He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, where he graduated from Oak Haven High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, serving his country honorably from 1977 to 1983.
"Tino" enjoyed music, computers and working on cars. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Teri Yancy; his children, Joyce Yancy and Valenterro Yancy; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Service of Memory for Mr. Yancy will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 1:00 P.M., Graveside ceremony at the National Cemeter. Reverend Rodger Cutler, Pastor, St. Mark Baptist Church,will officiate. Burial will follow with Military Honors.
