Valesha Carol (Arriaga) Miller entered this life on March 13, 1973. She entered heaven on September 12, 2021 at the age of 48. Valesha was born in Wichita KS. She was the oldest of five children born to Carlos and Carol Arriaga. She lived in Wichita until her family moved to Okmulgee, OK where she attended grade school and Junior High. In 1989 her family moved to Muskogee and it became her permanent home. She graduated from Hilldale High School in 1991 and attended Connors State College.

Valesha met Christopher Miller in 1999, they became friends, fell in love and got married on February 24, 2010. She was the proud mother of two beautiful daughters: Ashley Mayfield and Aaleiyah Miller and one lovely stepdaughter, Chelsey Miller. She was a hard and dedicated worker. For more than 17 years, she worked at Acme Engineering as an A-line worker.

She had a tender heart for God and great confidence in prayer. She would often ask for prayer even prior to her sickness and she depended on prayer until the end.

Valesha was a quiet and generous person. Although she didn't like being in the spotlight, she was fiercely protective of, and loyal to those who were closest to her. She was a loving wife and mother, who always cared for her children and put their needs first.

She was an awesome Mamaw V to her 3 grandsons , and enjoyed being around her close family. She was a fantastic daughter and big sister. She was affectionately known as V by those closest to her.

V is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Ann Arriaga.

Valesha leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Christopher Miller ; two daughters: Ashley and Aaleiyah of Muskogee, OK; one stepdaughter, Chelsey Miller of Little Elm, TX; three grandsons: Devin Bailey Jr., X'Zavir Bailey, and Kyrin Parker; her father, Carlos Arriaga of Muskogee, OK; one sister Kimberly (Jack) Arriaga Hulcher, of Broken Arrow, OK; three brothers, Leo (Holli) Arriaga of Muskogee, OK; Carlos Armon (Tammy) Arriaga of Muskogee, Ok; and Shawn (Victoria) Arriaga of San Antonio, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

"Our mama was a strong and beautiful woman. She gave us the best that life had to offer. She was our best friend and our number one go-to. We will miss her so much! We know she fought as long as she could. Although she is no longer here with us, she will always be our forever angel. " -Ashley and Aaleiyah

A Memorial ceremony will be shared with her Mother, Mrs. Carol Arriaga on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Martin Luther King Center in Muskogee. Brother Darrell Johnson will officiate.
