On the 23rd day of November, in 1958, a precious gift entered the world. This baby girl was born to the late OC Harvey and Yvonne Sharp-Chandler. They named her Vanessa Gail Harvey.

Vanessa lived a life filled with love and laughter cherishing every memory she created with those who surrounded her. Vanessa was always devoted to her family. She thoroughly enjoyed the role as Grandmother as she openly displayed love to all of her grandchildren. Vanessa's
passion for life was evident in her career and hobbies. She was a remarkable woman whose presence brought joy and wisdom to all who knew her.

Vanessa's passing has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared together. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Vanessa was preceded in death by: her husband, Cleophus Griffin, Sr.; her sister, Regina Harvey; her brother Richard Harvey and her great grandchild Emery Johnson.

Vanessa leaves to cherish her memory: her two daughters, Iman Griffin and Kizzy Griffin; one son, Cleophus Griffin Jr.; her grandchildren, Ramone Johnson Jr., Alyih Griffin, Keely Griffin, Coryon Griffin, Kaden Griffin, Fred Bezzell and baby Vannessa H. Griffin. her great grandchildren, Devonta Miller Jr., Zarayah Johnson and a host of cousins, family members and friends.

The Sacred Farewell for Vanessa will commence on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Tenth Hour in the most holy sanctuary of Beebe CME Church, where Pastor Adrian E. Mack will preside.

The Christian Committal will take place on Monday, October 30, 2023 at the Tenth Hour in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
