Obituary
Vickie Yvonne Butler was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on September 22, 1961, the daughter of General Sherman Thomas and Edna Dell McFarland.
She grew up in Muskogee, where she attended the public schools before ultimately graduating from Wagoner High School with the Class of 1980.
VIckie enjoyed spending time with her family, particularly her boys and her grandchildren. She also loved fishing and was a homemaker, and when speaking of her middle name, she would always emphasize the "Y" in pronouncing Yvonne.
She passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Vicky leaves to cherish her memory; her mother, Edna Shrum; her sons, Earl Wayne Butler, Rocky Lee Butler, Russell Butler, Jr., and Josh Butler; nine grandchildren; her loving companion, Wilford "Wolf" Mitchell; her brothers, Sherman "Butch" Thomas, Tommy "Buster" Thomas, David Shrum and Paul Shrum; her sisters, Donnell Thomas, Rose Marie McMahan, and Jessica Mae Gehle; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial ceremony will be shared on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Remembrance at the funeral home in Muskogee.
