"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry." ~Psalm 40:1
Doting Husband, Father, Grandfather, Friend.....
For I am already being poured out as a drink offering and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith.  Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved his appearing. II Timothy 4: 6-8.
Walter B. Benton was born September 1, 1937 in Reform, Alabama; to father Isaiah Benton & mother LuVerta Richardson.  Walter excepted Christ in his life and was a member of Union Baptist Church in Grayson, Oklahoma under the leadership of Pastor Rev. Jerell Ivey.  Walter was full of life, always met everyone with his big Beautiful Smile and distinguished southern voice.
Walter enlisted in the Air Force May 29, 1956, Operatives, in New Mexico & Berlin, Germany. After the Air Force he obtained a job with the United States Department of Agriculture and worked 30 years before retiring as a top notch inspector, with lots of awards under his belt.  His most proud moment in the Air Force was landing Air Force One in which President John F.
