Reflections of His Life...
On August 18, 1943 the seventh child of Walter and Velma Williams was born. They named him Walter Jr. His father said that he looked like a little "teddy bear" and so the nick name Teddy was established. He grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was a proud member and graduate of the Booker T. Washington Class of 1961.
Walter was a hard worker, and he worked various jobs until he was inducted into the Army in 1966. He met and married Mary Bean and this union was blessed with two girls and two boys.
On March 11, 1977 he married the love of his life, Pearl Turner and they enjoyed a blessed marriage for 41 years. A son and daughter completed this union. Walter and Pearl were active members of Higher Dimensions Church.
