Wanda Lee Thomas, 76, a resident of Muskogee, OK; passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, surrounded by family.

She was born on October 10, 1948, to Lula Pearl and E.W. Thomas Sr., in Muskogee, OK. She was one of eleven children.

Wanda graduated from Manual Training High School in Muskogee, OK, then relocated to Springfield, MA to begin her career. Wanda lived in Springfield for 30 years before returning to Oklahoma to be close to her siblings. Wanda was a dedicated mother, an avid reader, an excellent cook, and she loved to crochet. She took an active role in the lives of her grandchildren and was instrumental in aiding people in her community when they needed a helping hand. Wanda spent the last few years working as a certified medical assistant with the Muskogee County Prison.

She was preceded in death by her parents E.W. Thomas Sr. and Lula Pearl Thomas, two brothers, Charlie Ray Thomas and E.W. Thomas Jr., and her sister Erma Jean Meeks.

Her survivors include: one daughter, Toni (Wayne) Bracey, Columbia, SC; two sons, Marc (Maya) Thomas, Ludlow, MA, and Troy Glenn-Thomas, Muskogee, OK; six grandchildren, Marc Allen Thomas, Jr., Joshua Otey-Thomas, Devin Wayne Bracey, Kennedy Alexis Bracey, Troy  Glenn-Thomas, Jr., Kaenen Lee Terrell Thomas; seven siblings, Joan James Price, Los Angeles, CA; Terry Thomas, Tulsa, OK; Gail Thomas, Broken Arrow, OK; Larnett Glenn, Tampa, FL; and Jennifer Thomas, Broken Arrow, OK; Robert (Sonja) Thomas, Muskogee, OK; and Steve (Terry)Thomas, Oklahoma City, OK; and a long list of nieces and nephews.

The Hour of Remembrance will commence on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the People's Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc.

Visitation will be on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
