Mr. Warren Parker, Jr., age 64 and a resident of Haskell, Oklahoma, left this life on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from Muskogee.

Warren Parker Jr. departed this life on  Wednesday, March 14, 2018.  He was 64 years old.  Warren was born in Haskell, Oklahoma on September 12, 1953 to the union of Warren and Jewell Parker.  He was a resident of Hissom Memorial Center for several years and resided there up until its closing.  Nuney, as he was affectionately called was known and loved by many here in the Haskell community.  He became a member of The Central Church of Christ in Haskell, April, 1999.

Preceding him in death are his parents Warren and Jewell Parker, a sister Bertha Lee Parker Campbell, two brothers Terry Parker and Charles Parker.

Warren Jr. leaves to mourn his passing, brothers Walter Parker of Wichita, Kansas, Eugene Parker of Boynton, Oklahoma, a sister Eleanor Parker of Coweta, Oklahoma.

Don't think of me as gone away.  My journey has just begun.  Life holds so many facets.  This earth was only one.  Think of me as resting from the sorrows and the tears.  In a place of warmth and comfort.  Where there are no days or years.  There are no tears in heaven nor grief of any kind.  I leave this final tear drop to those I've have left behind.  Though absent from the body, I am now present with the Lord.  The joy of my salvation is now my full reward.

Rest in peace our precious Nuney, Rest in the hands of God.

Service of Memory for Mr. Parker will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Central Church of Christ in Haskell.  Burial will follow in the Haskell City Cemetery.
