For over 43 years he worked in the Food Handling Industries as a Waiter, a Banquet Captain and as a Supervisor for many of the hotels and private caterers in Tulsa. He was currently working for the Double Tree Hotel Downtown Tulsa, where he had planned to retire.
At an early age, he was born and raised in Paradise Baptist Church. He was baptized by the late Rev. A.L. Branch and served under Rev. J. Castina Jackson, and Rev. Prince Maxwell, Jr. He was a member of the Tot's and Junior Choir, and attended Sunday school, youth meetings, and BTU for many years.
He met and married Helen Davis. Together they raised four children, Israel (Tia), Melany, whom preceded him in death, Tesia, and West. On November 13, 2013, surrounded by his family and friends in an over-crowded hospital room, Westley left this earthly life for Rest awaiting his loved ones.
