Willard Lee Overstreet was born on March 28, 1974 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, the son of Alfred Overstreet Sr., and Gladys Overstreet. He was the third child born to this union.


Willard grew up in Okmulgee, where he attended Okmulgee Public Schools, graduating with the Okmulgee High School Class of 1992. After graduation, he furthered his education at Langston University.


At an early age, he united with the First Baptist Church, where he served the Lord faithfully on the Junior Usher Board. Willard continued to be thirsty for the learning and teaching of our Lord, Jesus Christ.


He was the proud owner and operator of "A Clean Above" commercial cleaning service. He was a successful business entrepreneur during his life and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.


He closed his eyes on earth, but woke up in Glory on Monday morning, April 6, 2009 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was met at Heaven's Gate by his father, Alfred Overstreet, Sr., and his grandparents.


Remaining to lament his passing; his fiance', Misty Carter, Tulsa, Oklahoma; his beautiful daughter, Brianna Overstreet, also of Tulsa; his mother, Gladys Overstreet [Calvin Fletcher], Okmulgee, Oklahoma; seven brothers, Gary [Nancy] Overstreet, Tulsa, Oklahoma, George Earl [Nedra] Johnson, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dwight Overstreet, Seattle, Washington, Alfred Overstreet, Jr., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Cardell Overstreet, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Patrick [Raina] Overstreet, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Kerry Overstreet, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister, Sharon Overstreet, Seattle, Washington; along with a caravan of other relatives and many friends who will cherish his wonderful memory.

The farewell tribute will be on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the First Baptist Church-Central. Rev. P. W. Jackson, Sr., Pastor, will Preside. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Preston, Oklahoma.
