Mr. Fox a resident of Okmulgee went to rest on Wednesday Morning July 22, 2009 in Tulsa.
Celebration of Life
William Rene Fox was born May 23, 1952 in Los Angeles, California. He was the youngest son born to Mrs. Louise and Mr. Earlee Fox. Bill was introduced to the Most High through his Holy Spirit and accepted Christ as his savior and was baptized in his early years. Bill left Los Angeles in his teen and moved to Grayson, OK., where he remained until graduating from Dewar High School with the class of 1971. He next graduated from OSU Okmulgee in the field of plumbing.
Bill joined the US Navy where he served four years with an Honorable discharge in 1978. Bill's passion was caring for others personally as well as professionally, as he labored as a caregiver until his death. His parents Louise and Earlee Fox, daughter Lisa Pierce, brother Charles Fox, and two nieces, Pam and Terri preceded him in death.
Bill leaves to celebrate his memory: four sisters: Barbara Whiting, Dom Hills, CA., Mary McCants (Reese) Los Angeles, CA., Arma Jean Flagg (John), La Puente, CA. Patricia Fox, Okmulgee, OK., two unlces Harvey Fox, Sr., (Johnnie Mae), Robert Fox (Ruby Jean) both of Grayson, OK., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Services will be Saturday August 1, 2009 at 10AM at the Chapel in Okmulgee. Visitation will be held Friday from 12Noon-6PM.
