Mr. William "Leroy" Hammon, age 52 and a resident of Okmulgee, passed from this life on Sunday, December 14, 2008.
Better known as "Leroy" to family and friends, Mr. Hammon was born in Okmulgee on January 5, 1956, the son of Herman and Will Ella [Woods] Hammon. He was a lifelong resident of Okmulgee, graduating from Okmulgee High School with the Class of 1974.
He worked for the City of Okmulgee and also worked in the Construction industry before he became disabled.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Hammon will be held in the Chapel of Peace on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 10:00 A.M.
