Mr. William Louis Murray, after 71 years, surrendered his soul on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from Tahlequah City Hospital.

Born in Welling, Oklahoma on July 2, 1940, he was the son of Robert Nicholas Murray and
Evelyn Sunshine.

Mr. Murray, a resident of the Muskogee area for over 20 years, was a retired car salesman and enjoyed life to the fullest. Mr. Murray served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy and was a very private man, but did enjoy visiting with his closest friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Baker Murray, his brothers, Robert and Everett Murray, his sisters Rilda Williams, Evelyn Jane Brown,Pat Williams and Iona Brown children, Billy,Ronnie,Evert, Robert and William Murray, Jr.; and a niece, Janet Williams.

He leaves to remember his life; his wife, Donna A. Murray; his mother-in-law, Lucille Ellen Phipps; his children, Darlene [Don] Tiffany, Lisa, Kimberly Walker, John Bigelow, Denver [Sha] Bigelow; his siblings, Aubert C.[Ann] Murray, Sr., Sam [Pam] McDuffey, Kay Corelle, Koleta Holsey, Ellen Berryhill, Brian Phipps, Dan [Teresa] Phipps, Jr., Virgil [Sally] Phipps, Sr., Jessie Phipps, Diane Blackwood; his grandchildren, Brooklynn Bigelow, Shelby Bigelow, Kayla Bigelow, Tiffany [Jason]Ishmael, Tiah [Steve Wright] Francis, Jason Francis, Johnathon Francis, Christopher Lee, Emily Ishmael, J. R. Ishmael, Gabriel Phipps, Sarah Abigail Phipps, Josh [Buffy] Bigelow, Logan Bigelow, Rian Bigelow, Micah Bigelow, Dale W. [Tracy] Murray, Aubert C. [Teresa] Murray, Jr., Evelyn Murray, Margie Lasley, Mark SEabolt, Jake Murray, Ashley Murray, Eric Murray, Aubrey Murray, Araih Murray, Sarah [Joe], Dustin Phipps, Haley Phipps and Heather Phipps;

Service of Memory for Mr. Murray will be on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M., graveside ceremony at the National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Brother Mark Seabolt will officiate.

Casket bearers will be Aubert Murray, Brandon Murray, Dale Murray and Caleb Murray. Honorary bearers will be Harlan Seabolt and Paul Stevens.

You may visit Mr. Murray, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc, on Sunday from 12 Noon until 4 PM.
