William Terrell Wilkerson was born on April 24, 1944 to Pandora and Floyd Wilkerson in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was second of their twelve children. The oldest son.
He attended school at Dunbar Elementary, Sadler Jr. High School and Historic Manuel Training High School here in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He later attended Tailoring School where he designed and made clothes for himself. He loved traveling and playing games.
He met Marcella Faye Dan and two beautiful children, LaTreva and Herbert Norvelle Wilkerson, were born. He married Martha Davis and to this union two handsome sons, William T. "SweetPee" Jr. and Marcus Wilkerson were born. He met Osie Mae and his second beautiful daughter, Belva Wilkerson was born. He then met Karen Frederick and two beautiful children, Raguel and Nicole Wilkerson were born.
Preceded him in death: His parents Pandora & Floyd Wilkerson, grandparents LeGusta & Fred Davis Sr. Uncle-Fred Davis Jr.., brother Lincoln L. Wilkerson, nephew Carl Wilkerson, and two nieces Trena Wilkerson and Gereese Swanson.
He loved his family! Everyone enjoyed when William came home to Muskogee because he would shower everyone with money and gifts.
William leaves to cherish his memory; His Children; LaTreva Wilkerson Etheridge (Elliott)-Checotah, OK, Herbert Norvelle Wilkerson-Tulsa, OK., William T. "SweetPee" Wilkerson- Tulsa, OK., Marcus Wilkerson-Las Vegas, Ne, Belva Wilkerson-Chicago,Ill, Raguel Wilkerson, and Nicole Wilkerson of Okla. City, Uncle Ray Lamont Davis Sr. Five sisters, Elizabeth Sanders (Lewis) of Omaha Nebraska, Arthalia Garrett (Terry), Pamela Houston, Nancy Kay Swanson (Leonard) all of Muskogee, and Andrea Wilkerson of Tulsa. Five brothers Orlando Wilkerson of St. Paul Minnesota, Carl Wilkerson (Debbie), Robert Wilkerson (Karen) both of Oklahoma City, Cody Wilkerson (Lisa) of Tulsa, Dion Wilkerson of Muskogee; grandchildren, great grandchildren; Along with a host of nieces, nephews, additional relatives and many great friends.
A Time to Remember will commence on Friday morning, January 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the most Holy Sanctuary of Faith Deliverance Christian Center.
Burial will follow in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery in Muskogee.
You may Visit Mr. Wilkerson, as he slumbers in peaceful repose in the People's Chapel of the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., in Muskogee.
