Obituary
Mr. Willie "Big Daddy" Powell, after 86 years, went from Labor to Refreshment on Saturday, October 1, 2005 from Eastgate Village Nursing Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Mr. Powell was born in Boynton, Oklahoma on February 7, 1919 and spent many years in California, where he operated East Palo Alto Concrete Company.
He returned to Oklahoma in later years to enjoy his retirement.
The Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. in Wilson Chapel Baptist Church, Highway 16, west of Muskogee 9 miles. The Christian committal will follow in the Doyle Cemetery at Yahola, Oklahoma.
You may visit "Big Daddy", as he slumbers in the Chapel of Remembrance at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., on Friday, October 7, 2005 from 12 Noon until 6 P.M.
