Mother Willie Mae Hood, at the conclusion of 91 years. 9 months and 17 days, received her rest on Sunday morning, May 18, 2025 from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Her Sacred farewell will commence on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the Greater Jones AME Zion Church of Okmulgee.  The Pastor, Reverend Terry D. Howard, Sr., will officiate, and Reverend Jerry Hayden will deliver the Eulogy.

You may visit Mother Hood as she slumbers in sweet repose at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Okmulgee on Friday, between the hours of 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Mrs. Hood will be laid to rest on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 2:30 PM in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
