Willie James Logan was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on June 25, 1969, the son of the late James and Lois [Freeman] Logan. His grandparents were the late Johnny and Gladys Logan and the late Oliver and Zettie Freeman.
Better known as "Tracy" by family and friends, he confessed his hope in Christ at an early age at Saint Bethel Baptist Church, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Tracy received his education in the Pine Bluff, Arkansas public school system. He moved from Pine Bluff to Muskogee, Oklahoma in 1996. He entered into holy matrimony with Ronda Johnson on May 14, 2020.
Willie, "Tracy" and some that go way back with him would call him "Tray Dawg or Rabbit" was a hard working man who loved the Lord, life an dhis family above all. He was always willing to lend a hand or just a kind word to anyone he encountered. That's why he had more friends in person than any facebook page you've ever seen The most joyful time of his life was spent with his children, who were his pride and joy. His best friends became his brothers for life. Tracy always wanted to leave people with a smile on their faces, even with leaving for his home in Glory, his memories will always leave a smile on the faces of his loved ones.
His daughter Tracie says that it always meant a lot to her that her dad never said goodbye toher, he always said "in a minute!"
in his 52nd year of life, Willie James Logan, Sr., left this life for a life eternal on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from Muskogee, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, and his brothers, John E. Logan and James A. Logan, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Ronda; his daughters, Tracie Logan, Pine "Bluff, Arkansas; Annisa Logan, Pennsylvania, Breaunna Logan, Independence, Kansas and his sons, Willie [Nicole] Logan, Jr., Muskogee, Oklahoma, Jerome [Sara] Logan, Checotah, Oklahoma, Devonta Durdan, Coffeyville, Kansas, and Davyon Johnson-Logan, Muskogee, Oklahoma; his step-children, Dennisha Maxey, Dennis Hatley, Daniel Hatley and Niya Foster; four sisters, Lois [Lewis] Scott, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Quinetta [Isaac] Thomas, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Shirley [Vernon] Scott, Muskogee, Oklahoma, Sandra [Keith] Boyd, Maumelle, Arkansas; his brothers, Tony [Martina] Freeman, Conway, Arkansas, Stevie Logan, Texarkana, Arkansas, Benny Freeman, Oklahoma, Kenneth [Megan] Madison, Overbrook, Kansas; his life long friends, Daryl Johnson, Delynn Fisher, Christopher Harris, Don Henry and Carlos Henry; two very special cousins, Ronnie and Lonnie Burton; along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:000 AM in the Booker T. Washington Cemetery.
Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 9:15 AM and the funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:45 AM.
The casket will not be opened at the cemetery and Masks are mandatory at all services.
