Obituary

Willie Juanita Trimble, in her 87th year, on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 5:01 p.m., heard the voice of God saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Come on home to the place that Jesus has prepared for you."

While here on Earth, Willie Juanita Trimble, also known to some as Mrs. Parker, was born in Idabel, OK, on February 3, 1934, to Calvin and Hattie Brown (preceded her in death). Willie was the sixth child of eleven (11) children.

Siblings who preceded her in death are, Zeta Mae Brown Green, J.V. Brown, Lorraine Brown Cole, Calvin (O.C.) Brown, Charlene Brown Weaver, Verna Mae Brown-Burnside, Roy C. Brown, and Sonola Brown, and one daughter died at birth. There are three (3) surviving sisters, Irene Grant (Tulsa/Kansas), Ruthie M. Johnson (Muskogee, OK), and Gladys Norwood (El Paso, TX).

Willie worked for the Muskogee Public School District for over forty-five (45) years, where she retired but continued her work in the Mission Ministry and Usher Board at Central Missionary Baptist Church. She raised her six (6) children, Betty J. Lenzy (Portage, MI), Hazel L. Walker (preceded in death), Patricia A. Davis (Aaron) (Dallas, TX), Roberta M. Parker (Nashville, TX), Robert J. Parker (Kathryn) (Muskogee, OK), and Melvin Parker (Muskogee, OK), to love, honor, and trust God right here in Central Missionary. Willie never stopped serving or giving back, even after her legs and feet slowed her down.

Willie continued to visit the sick and shut-in, caring for both grand- and great-grandchildren after school or during spring and summer breaks. Willie understood her gift from God, at an early age, was service, and she was faithful in her service to God. Willie may have given birth to six children, but she had 15 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren, and a plethora of of nieces, nephews, and friends of her children who called her Mother, too. She was able to get you right with a stern look, a slight pinch of the arm, or a look with gritted teeth, but you knew that she loved you. Willie was a Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, and our Queen, but the most important title she could ever hold was being a Child of God.

She will be missed by all who encountered her, because no matter what you were going through, she would say, "Trust in the Lord." "And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, 'Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes,' says the Spirit, 'that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.'" Revelation 14:13

Her sacred farewell will commence on Friday morning, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the most Holy Sanctuary of the Central Missionary Baptist Church.  Reverend Mikeus Moore, is the gracious host Pastor.
