"One's Life Reflected..."

Wilma Jean (Pressley) Bell was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 9, 1935 to parents Raymond J. Pressley and Harriet M. Pressley.  She had six siblings who have all preceded her in death.  Wilma accepted Christ at an early age.

Jean as family called her, had any passions; cooking, laughing, going to the malls shopping, great sense of humor, and dining at restaurants with family and friends. She loved life. She loved her daughter and son and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in the Class of 1953. She further her education at Langston University majoring in Business and Draughon's School of Business Studies in Bookeeping.  She worked at her 1st job with her sister Mildred as a nurses aid then she went to be employed at McDonald Douglas in 1968 becoming their 1st Black Female Inspector. She enjoyed her job and was a hard worker. Wilma stayed on her job even when they were bought out by Boeing and she continued working there until closure in 1995, then she soon retired.

Wilma Jean (Pressley) Bell was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Harriet Pressley, two brothers: Raymond Pressley (Tulsa, OK), Robert Pressley (Los Angeles, CA), four sisters Mildred Kavanaugh (Palmdale, California), Joyce Pressley, and Doris Pressley (Tulsa, OK), nephews Christopher and Donald Hooks, Dewayne Walker all of Tulsa, OK.

On December 12, 2020 Wilma quietly departed and closed her eyes.  Those left to mourn her passing and cherish her precious memories: Two beautiful children, daughter Michelle Atchison (Tulsa, OK), son Bryan k. Wiley (New York, NY), Four grandchildren LaToya Davis (Tulsa, OK), Emanuel Atchison (Tulsa, OK), Michael Atchison (Tulsa, OK), and MarQuita Nunez (Tulsa, OK), Eight grandchildren, Two sisters Elizabeth (Pressley) Monday (Raliegh, NC) with sons Michael, James and Kenneth Monday, Maybelline Hooks (Julius) of Tulsa, OK, and One brother Ronald Dean Pressley (Valerie) of Muskogee, OK, three nieces Alysia Kavanaugh (Palmdale, CA), Kimberly Mitchel (Ernest) Tulsa, OK, Lisa Pressley of Texas, Roderick Pressley of California, Roshawn Pressley (Las Vega, NV) along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A Tribute To Our Mother

Mom, though your smile is gone forever, and your hand We cannot touch, We have so many memories.  Your memory is now Our keepsake with which we will never part.  God has you in his keeping, We have you in Our hearts, sadly missed, but never forgotten.
