Wilma Jean Williams

February 12, 1937 – March 25, 2020

Wilma Williams was born February 12, 1937 in Beggs, Oklahoma. She was the only child born to the late Johnny Horn Demry, Sr. and Louise Thomas Roberts.

Wilma grew up in Beggs but later moved to Tulsa in the 50's. She was a member of North Peoria Church of Christ where she participated in the Ladies Bible Class. Wilma spent her early years as a domestic housekeeper in Tulsa and had the reputation for being explicitly neat, clean and direct. Her precious life ended on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at St. John's Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her loving daughter, Eunice Faye (Anderson) Curtis of Duncanville, Texas; grandson, Edward David Curtis II (Shana Hall Curtis) of Duncanvile, TX; granddaughter, Sonyaa Curtis-Adeyoju (Olayinka Adeyoju) of Rowlett, TX; Chevis L. Curtis of Plano, TX; two great – grandsons, Zachery and Zion Curtis of Duncanville, TX; two brothers, Johnny Demry, Jr. (Brenda Demry) of Beggs, OK and Anthony Cook (Deborah Cook) of Las Vegas; one sister, Annabelle Tiger of Tulsa, OK. She was preceded in death by her sister Laverne Tottress. She will also be remembered by a host of relatives and friends who were dear to her heart.

Wilma's homegoing service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, 1414 North Norfolk Avenue in Tulsa. It however will be a private family event to comply with current national regulations regarding public gatherings.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, 1414 North Norfolk Avenue in Tulsa.

Burial will be at Beggs Cemetery on Thursday, April 2, 2020.
