WILMER JEAN EDWARDS was born to Clarence and Louise Edwards in Rentiesville, Oklahoma, on June 28, 1943. She was the fifth child born to this union. Wilmer's parents and her four brothers, Hardy, Earnest, Bobby, and Dave Edwards, preceded her in death.
WILMER attended Rentiesville High School in Rentiesville, Oklahoma, and graduated. Wilmer was a member of First Baptist Church in Rentiesville. Although Wilmer didn't have children of her own, she had the most children of the family, which included a host of nieces and nephews she claimed as her own. She remained in Rentiesville, Oklahoma, until she went to sleep.
Those left to cherish her memory: three sisters, Earlene Crawford of Wichita, Kansas, Edna Lockett of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Carolyn Y. Relf of Luther, Oklahoma; two brothers, Roy L. Edwards of Rentiesville, Oklahoma, and Cornelius Edwards of Muskogee, Oklahoma; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mrs. Wilmer Jean Edwards, in her 79th year, fell asleep in death on June 29, 2022.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Edwards will commence on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM in The People's Chapel of Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc.,-Muskogee.
