IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Xzavion "Mikey"
Michael Whitaker
December 10, 2006 – April 20, 2019
On December 10, 2006, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a bouncing, baby boy was born to Lesley and Christ Whitaker. They named their son Xzavion Michael Whitaker and was better known to family and close friends as "Mikey", "Zay" or "X" to his teammates, and Uncle Mike to his nieces and nephews.
Xzavion was a big kid at heart. He loved kids and his future goal was to become a pediatrician. Xzavion was well known and loved around his neighborhood.
Mikey was a part of the "Raider Nation" football team, where he loved his "boys" [teammates] and coaches! He loved going to the skating rink on friday nights and going to the movies with his friends. You would always see Mikey walking around with cousins or close friends and always with his Daddy.
He was a student at Cherokee Tech in the 6th grade, a month away from his farewell ceremony. He also loved helping his Mama and was excited about entering middle school next year.
